Mother and Child Alder Wood Box - Alder wood engraved 6.75" x 3.25" x 1.75" box. Mother's name on top and children names inside the box. On the bottom of the box is a symbol definition: the Tapuat or Hopi symbol for mother and her child, the lines represent stages of life, umbilical cord, and the path of moving - always within the watchfulness of the Mother, the center symbolizes the amniotic sack - the center of life - the beginning, this symbol is also referred to as the Journey symbol.
